Everything you need to run payroll in Samoa
Built by Apia Chartered Accountants — the software does the weekly cycle, ACA does the year.
Samoa's rules are already in it — you never look up a rate
- PAYE calculated on the Samoan bands (0% / 20% / 27%), annualised so weekly, fortnightly and monthly staff on the same salary land on the same tax
- SNPF at 10% employee and 10% employer, ACC at 1% and 1%
- Rate tables are versioned, effective-dated and maintained centrally by ACA — when a band moves, we push it
- Every pay run records the rate table that calculated it, so a reprint from six months ago shows what it showed then
A guided Friday, not a blank screen
- One task per screen in a fixed order: enter days worked → fix what's flagged → send for approval → approve → print and file
- Plain English throughout — "total pay before deductions", not "gross earnings"
- Names come from a list, rates come from the employee record; nobody types a rate twice
- Salaried, hourly, daily-rate and casual staff all in the same run; weekly, fortnightly or monthly cycles
- Errors stop the run and name the problem: "You entered 9 days for Lupe, but this period only has 7. Check the docket."
Nothing gets paid until the owner says so
- Preparer and approver are separate people, enforced (Pro and Inhouse)
- Approval shows headcount and totals, and requires typing APPROVE — you read the numbers before you commit
- Full audit log of who did what and when
- Cancelled runs keep a reason and stay in the record; nothing is deleted
- A one-page control summary — run reference, preparer, approver, totals, cash/bank split, rate version — to sign and file
Paying people, including the ones at a village location
- Bank payment list for internet banking
- Cash receipt sheet with amounts pre-printed and a signature line per person
- All payslips as one PDF with a page break per person — print once, collect the stack — ordered cash first so envelopes can be made up in order
The filing pack prints itself
- P4 PAYE return
- SNPF contribution schedule with employer number and per-member employee and employer columns
- ACC totals
- SNPF exception report — anyone paid without an SNPF number, showing what the contribution would have been, so you know the size of the exposure instead of finding out at assessment
It talks to your accounts
- Journal export as a neutral CSV (Date, Reference, Description, Account Code, Account Name, Debit, Credit) that imports into Zoho, Xero, MYOB or anything else
- Account codes mapped once, then it's one click a period
- Duplicate-export warning and a posted flag, so nothing goes in twice
Leave, if you want it
- Optional module the owner switches on
- Annual leave (10 days default), sick leave (10 days default), special leave granted case by case with a reason
- Balances tracked and shown on payslips
